Unlike the one we reported on from Pasco recently, this church had an alarm, and it helped a police dog nab a suspect.  Yes, dog is God spelled backwards.

Early Tuesday morning, around 2:45am, police responded to an alarm at the Iglesias Tri-Cities Church, located at South 221 Benton Street.

Police quickly set up containment around the building, and then sent in K-9 Axel with his handler to find who was inside, or what triggered the alarm.

The suspect, 19-year-old Randall S. Nordblad-Jones was quickly cornered and subdued by Axel and the officers. He's now safely away from the police dog in the Benton County jail.
