Domestic Violence Suspect Climbs Through Window of Car to ‘Detain’ Victim

Sunday morning Kennewick Police had a scuffle with a suspect, accused of climbing through the window of a female victim's car in an attempt to keep her from driving  away.

Police responded to the area near West 8th Ave and South Dayton Place, near Roy Johnson Field by Kennewick High.

At the scene they located the suspect, identified as  Jonathan Pedroza. He refused to cooperate with officers and fought with them. One officer sustained minor injuries. No word if he had violated any no contact orders but now he's in the Benton County jail facing Assault DV, Obstructing a Police Officer, and Resisting Arrest chargrs.

The investigation continues.
