Drowsy Driver Ejected in Rollover Crash Friday Morning

The accident, as of Friday morning, was still being cleared.

Benton County Deputies responded to a crash on Webber Canyon Road near the intersection Dennis Road before 9AM, and found this truck had left the roadway, rolled and crash.

Deputies say the driver was coming home after working the night-overnight shift and fell asleep at the wheel. Officials say the truck drifted off the road, then back on, causing the rollover. No mention of seatbelt use or not, but the driver was ejected, and the truck landed on top of him.

He was rushed to an area hospital, said to be in serious condition. No other information released at this time.
