‘Dust In the Wind’ Takes on New Meaning in Suspect Meth Chase
Drug suspect might have been listening to Kansas?
Early Friday morning, Benton County Sheriff's deputies noticed a car driving erratically in the area of 3rd Ave and Chemical Drive in Kennewick.
When the deputy turned around abruptly and lit 'em up to pull the driver over, they began to swerve even more and nearly lost control. Finally the unnamed driver pulled over and officers learned why his driving became even more erratic.
Deputies found a torn baggie of drugs in the car, seems the suspect has been trying to dump his meth out the window, but the wind from his high speed driving blew it back in his face, all over himself and the front seat. They are presumably in the Benton County jail on drug and driving infraction charges.
