Feds Bust Grant County Woman With Drugs, Shotgun, More
The Moses Lake Police Department has revealed that over the weekend, a major bust was made involving a suspect, and even some firearms.
Customs and Border Patrol, Homeland Security and the Moses Lake Street Crimes Unit arrested 38-year-old Selena Flores as part of a major investigation.
Police didn't say how long they had been working the case, but she was apprehended with the following drugs, according to the Moses Lake Police Department:
"...(Flores was)...found to be in possession of a kilogram of dimethyltryptamine (DMT), a small amount of methamphetamine and a shotgun. DMT is a hallucinogenic and schedule 1 controlled substance."
Authorities also seized a shotgun as part of the evidence. However, it's curious to note that she was released from custody "pending additional investigation" said Police.
Given all the agencies working the case, it's possible this is part of a large scheme but no comment from law enforcement on that. The investigation continues.
