Felony Suspect's "Chauffeur" Plows Stone Fence, Charged with DUI

Thursday afternoon Richland police arrived at the intersection of Westcliff and Jonagold Streets, for a report of a car that had plowed straight into a stone retaining wall-fence.

Police found the driver, 24-year-old Shelby Covert, was drunk behind the wheel and arrested. Her passenger, 26-year-old Mark Kinder, probably wishes he'd caught a ride with somebody else.

He was arrested, as he was wanted on numerous outstanding warrants. The next time you're wanted by the law and you get a ride, make sure your driver isn't loaded! Guess he forgot when you're in a wreck, the police check EVERYONE'S ID.

Neither of them were hurt, nor was anyone else in the crash. Can't say much for the car, though.
