According to court documents and information presented as his initial appearance today in Franklin County Superior Court, 36-year-old Michael Goins allegedly took at least $90,000 from the Downtown Pasco Development Authority (DPDA)  as Executive Director.

Goins, who was arrested Tuesday, appeared in court and is facing theft charges. According to Prosecutor Sean Sant, Goins took the money over a very long period of time, and the $90K is now missing from the Authorities accounts.

The DPDA hired Goins in 2013 and did see some immediate successes from his leadership as Executive Director, until this situation broke this week. Most who knew him and were associated with the DPDA were shocked by the arrest.
