Franklin County Commissioners to Discuss Tax Hike Tuesday
The Franklin County Commissioners will discuss a proposed property tax increase at their meeting at 9AM Tuesday morning Dec. 8.
According to the agenda posted on their site:

9:05 a.m. PUBLIC HEARING: Franklin County 2021 Budget Presented by Administrator Keith Johnson 2021 Property Tax Levy Declaration of Need (Resolution 2020-284, if approved) 2021 Ordinance-Resolution Franklin County Current Expense (Resolution 2020-285, if approved) 2021 Ordinance-Resolution Franklin County Road Department (Resolution 2020-286, if approved)"
According to officials and sources, the purpose is to address the budget and needs of the county, however on Commissioner Clint Didier has already publicly posted he will vote against any such tax hike.
