Fortunately, she didn't have to drive clear across the state, but it's still pretty amazing.

A mother, frustrated by several months of unpaid medical bills, decided to confront the Washington State Healthcare Exchange, in person!    Kelly Waterman of Seattle suburb Lake Forest Park, had enrolled in a program through the Washington Healthplanfinder online (Obamacare), but found it wasn't working.

She began to receive past due medical bills, despite her family paying over $1,200 a month for her, her husband and 3 children.   After paying premiums for 8 months,  she was told by her family doctor the insurance plan they purchased wouldn't cover their newest family member, who was born in early 2014.

So she took her pile of bills, piled the kids in the car, and drove to the Healthplanfinder offices in Olympia.  She sat for nearly 3 hours before officials finally figured out another of those wonderful "glitches" in the system was preventing the premium money she paid to the Healthcare exchange from getting to the Premera Insurance company.

Officials say they've fixed the problem,  but Waterman told NW Cable News and KING-5 TV she won't believe it until she sees evidence her bills have been paid.  Like many who've dealt with the government, she's wondering where her money went to.
