It could be another bumpy night in the Tri-Cities! The National Weather Service is calling for thunderstorms and possible fire danger. The weather should shift around 11 pm this evening bringing lightning and possible showers. If the lightning touches down in dry areas, there could be chances for wild fires. We haven't seen much rain in the area for 10 days, so there is the potential for fires. To add to the fire danger, winds of up to 26 MPH are expected as well, which means if a fire does start, there is a good chance it could spread.

Cooler weather will follow tonight's weather switch as the week progresses. So, we could be in for another spectacular night for photographers and storm watchers, and things are going to cool off. But hopefully we won't see any fires from the fray.
