Glass Cooktop RECALL. They’ll Send You a New One.

I have a Whirlpool glass top stove and the other day I turned the heat from med-hi to med-low and it actually got hotter...like I turned it to HIGH or something. In fact, it wouldn't go down until I turned it off and then back on. That kinda freaked me out but it hasn't done it since. But then I ran across this GLASS COOKTOP RECALL because the models in question are turning themselves on...like when you're at work or away. Yikes! Some Whirlpool, KitchenAid, and JennAir brand glass cooktops are affected. The models in question were manufactured from December of 2016 through July of 2019, so that leaves me out...mine is older. Check the serial numbers of the models that are recalled, and a phone number to call to get a new one below.
