Grant County Sheriff Releases Video About Huge Federal Drug Bust

The area is called The Compound, but formally called Winchester. It's an unincorporated part of Grant County, about halfway between Quincy and Ephrata.

It was the subject of a lot of Law Enforcement activity on Thursday, Oct. 8th.

Area residents noticed not only Grant County Sheriff's Deputies, Federal DEA agents and other law enforcement officers.

Due to ongoing investigations, and Federal requirements, not a ton of information is being released except that at least four people are in custody as part of the raid on a significant drug operation.

This video was released by Kyle Foreman the Public Information Officer for the Grant County Sheriff's Department. He laws out how what was going on, and how extensive it was. Grant County has seen it's share of drug operations broken up, many of the more remote areas appear to be an attraction for these kinds of persons.
