Not is it stinking hot for the 3rd day in a row it's super smokey from near by fires but there is also high levels of the invisible gas ozone in the air!

Today's high temperature is projected to reach 103 degrees and when it gets that hot Ozone levels rise creating unhealthy air quality. To help quell the ozone situation it is advised to drive less, don't use gas powered equipment like lawn mowers and don't fire up the bbq.

Smoke has also been an issue due to the Williams Flat fire burning in nearby Ferry County near Coulee Dam which as of today has scorched over 17,000 acres and is only 20% contained.

So stay inside take it easy...good news cooler weather will be here by the weekend.
