The Moda Assist Program pledged $10 for every Portland Trail Blazers assist last season. The money raised totaled $20,000 and is now going to build a new playground for Hermiston's Sunset Park!

There were plans to celebrate with a ceremony earlier this month, but those plans have been postponed due to the wildfires. Hermiston beat out Portland's own Jason Lee Elementary, among others, to win the new playground. As a big Trail Blazers fan, I'm so excited to see the team helping out Hermiston!
