Illegal Outdoor Burning Nets Cops Not One, But TWO Wanted Suspects
Why not just send up smoke signals saying "I am here?"
Stanfield Police and Umatilla County Sheriff's report two wanted suspects were arrested four days apart after police responded to reports of illegal outdoor burning activity.
January 4th, 39-year-old Frank Walker was apprehended in Stanfield after police showed up to investigate a report of an illegal trash burn. Turns out he was wanted on a felony warrant.
Then Tuesday morning around 1:30am, another report of a backyard burn came in, and police arrested Kyle Colton at his home in Stanfield. He was snoozing on the couch when officers arrived. He too was wanted on a warrant.
One would think if you're wanted by authorities, you'd NOT light up trash on a no burn day...
