The Walla Walla County Sheriff's Office and Washington State Patrol this week announced the discovery, and break up, of a large illegal pot grow near Burbank.

It was not huge geographically, but had a lot of plants packed in.

Neither agency released any more geographical specifics, but only said the it was substantial, more than 50 very large plants were seized. The operation appeared to be walled off from view.

It was taking place on land not owned by the operators, they were trespassing, and apparently stealing a significant amount of irrigation water. There was no mention of any arrests of if any persons were being sought in the case.

It is not known if the water usage was perhaps a tip off to the operation.

These pics show the before and after the offices were done "harvesting."
