My wife is from Salem/Keiser Oregon and that's the closest location we have near Tri-Cities that has an In-N-Out Burger but we soon will have another location even closer to home.

It's a California tradition and it's getting closer and closer to us. If you've been wanting to see what all the hype is about, you'll soon be able to go to a location even closer than Salem/Keiser.

A new In-N-Out Burger is headed to Tualatin, a suburb of Portland, as hinted on social media by the Mayor of Tualatin Frank Bubenik. Bubenik posted this on his Facebook page:

The new In-N-Out Burger would replace the Village Inn and the company is in the beginning stages of permitting - the city is holding a virtual meeting on Thursday to discuss concerns with the new In-N-Out but it looks like if all goes well, we will have an even closer In-N-Out Burger than Salem.

Fans of the burger joint are crossing their fingers that eventually we'll get one in the Tri-Cities.

If the In-N-Out keeps advancing this way, you never know, we could have one of the franchises in our area in the next few years.

You can check out more details on the Tualatin progress here.
