It’s Official – Pasco Will Soon Have It’s Own Costco!
Kennewick already has a Costco but it's quite the drive if you live in Richland or Pasco. The good news is that Costco is expanding and Pasco will be the next location for a new Costco that's coming to the region.
Costco's Pasco location could be open as soon as next year as rumors are now becoming a reality as a letter of intent has been signed by the company to expand to Pasco.
Costco has yet to comment on the expansion but the developers confirmed that they have a letter of intent signed by the company to build in the Broadmoor Blvd and Sandifur Parkway area off of Road 68.
145 acres has been rezoned by the City of Pasco for the development of another stretch of retail businesses that'll be in the Broadmoor area, expanding the city's development plan for the area.
The ground hasn't been broken yet but developers are hoping to break ground early next year on the project.
If you like the great values that Costco offers plus those gas prices that are discounted, you'll soon be able to have two locations in the Tri-Cities to frequent. At this writing, we are still waiting for the official word from Costco but the company confirmed that they don't comment on future construction projects but the developers and Marcus & Millichap real estate brokerage who represents the landowner, confirmed that a letter of intent has been signed by the company to purchase and build on the property.
