Coming up on Friday, August 7th, starting at 7 PM and going until Saturday, August 8th at 7 AM,  the Steptoe Street between Canyon Street and the Columbia Park Trail/WSDOT roundabout will be closed.

Steptoe Street Overnight Shutdown Marks Major Progress on Richland Road Project

Work crews will complete work associated with the reconstruction and realignment of the Steptoe Street and Tapteal Drive intersection, which should be a great improvement to the area.

According to the City of Richland, during the closure, Steptoe Street will be closed to through traffic between Canyon Street and the roundabout.

Drivers should follow posted detour routes and allow extra travel time.

If you travel that way, give yourself some extra time, as Steptoe Street between Canyon Street and the Columbia Park Trail/WSDOT roundabout will be closed.

The good news is that the new improvements will help enhance traffic flow, safety, and infrastructure in one of Richland's busiest transportation corridors.
