Kennewick Citizen’s Police Academy Still Open for Applicants

You still have until March 17th to get involved.  And no, Steve Gutenberg and Bubba Smith will NOT be there.

This is a great opportunity to find out the inner workings of how police forces deal with the many different situations they are confronted with on a daily basis.

The Citizens Academy kicks off March 26th, and lasts for 5 weeks.  Among the programs citizens will receive information and instruction about include:

• SWAT
• Firearms
• graffitti
• gangs
• CAT (Criminal Apprehension Team)
• Code Enforcement
• Volunteer Program
