Kennewick Man Arrested for Beating Woman in Moving Car
A man from Kennewick was arrested and charged with domestic violence assault after witnesses saw him allegedly beating up a woman while he was driving on Hwy 395 and again on 10th.
37 year old Travis Gabbert was arrested after three different witnesses called 911 to report he was hitting a woman multiple times. One witness saw him break the windshield during the attack.
Some witnesses reported that he was hitting her while the car was moving and others saw them fighting outside the car.
Police talked with the witnesses and one said that police could find them on John Day Avenue. They went to that location and found the black car that was described.
Kennewick police then got a search warrant and found Travis Gabbert and the woman inside.
