Kennewick police are investigating two separate burglary incidents that occurred during the daytime June 4 and 6 -- both involving at least one related suspect.

In the first incident, in the 600 block of South Buchanan, a suspect entered the home through a bathroom window and stole tools, a cellphone, a laptop and an expensive Marc Echo watch. Witnesses saw a black man in his 30's carrying a laptop bag leaving the scene. He was described as medium build, wearing a beanie.

A similar suspect was described in the second incident June 6 near 400 block of North Quebec Street. Two children arrived home from the last day of school and found the front door had been forced open. The suspect described earlier was seen leaving the area with a laptop computer bag.

KPD officials urge residents to lock all doors and windows and report and suspicious persons seen in their neighborhood.
