Kennewick Police Warn of New Phone Scam DON’T FALL FOR IT!

Another day and yes another scam to be warned about, this one involves the Kennewick Police...

DON'T GET SCAMMED!!!!!

The Kennewick Police are warning citizens to be aware of a new phone scam according to their post:

Fraud Alert -- Please be aware of a phone scam that is occurring in Kennewick.

A citizen called to report that a male, claiming to be a KPD Officer, was raising money for the Kennewick Police Department. The male was asking for Bronze ($25), Silver ($35) and Gold ($45) donations.

This is a scam. The Kennewick Police Department does not solicit for money. Any calls of this nature should be considered suspicious.
