"Kennewick School District will temporarily close the administration center to the public beginning March 20 at least through April 3 due to the potential public health threat posed by COVID-19.
While public access is temporarily suspended, the district staff will be conducting school district business primarily over the telephone and via email. In specific situations, in-person appointments may be scheduled, but only if deemed necessary and if adherence to social distancing requirements can be met. We are committed to continuing to serve our staff and families during this temporary closure.
School building offices will be closed the week of March 23-27 unless scheduled by special appointment.
The Kennewick School District Board of Directors met in an emergency session last night and unanimously passed a resolution that temporarily suspends board policies in order to implement any guidance from the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) relating to containing COVID-19 for the duration of the governor’s school closure order. The resolution indicates that the superintendent will continue to consult the board on guidance by OSPI during this time"
