Kennewick Schools Release More Snow Day Make Ups-Last Day June 14

Thursday, the Kennewick School District released more information about some upcoming days that in other years, would have had early releases. But they won't due to  efforts to make up days lost to the snow.

The District said the following days will be modified:

• March 16-17, next Thursday and Friday, Full Days (Elementary schools)
• April 20-21, Full Days (High Schools)
• June 14th  Last Day Of School  Full Day (K-11--all except graduating seniors)
• June 15-16 Parent Teacher conferences (K-12)

One notable difference is the Conferences being held AFTER the final full day of school.  This is to allow as much class time as possible to be made up.
