An intricate and sophisticated cyber-attack has hit the Tri-Cities news affiliate KNDU. It's a trend that has been occurring around the world and appears no one or no business is immune.

KHQ in Spokane the parent company to KNDU says the breach occurred sometime Sunday evening which affected the companies technical software which is used to deliver newscasts to all of Cowels Media's news outlets in Tri-Cities, Spokane, and their multiple Montana news stations.

The good news is KHQ says none of their employee's personal data or any of their client's data was NOT affected.

So hopefully we'll have our News from KNDU back on the airwaves soon, we miss you, Madeline & Monty!

The FBI has been contacted and is working on this situation.
