Krispy Kreme Coming to Tri-Cities — Will You Partake? [POLL]

The owners of MyFroYo frozen yogurt shops have recently announced they plan to open three Krispy Kreme shops in the next three years somewhere in Yakima, Benton County and Pasco.They make a fine doughnut -- and it's evolved to be more a dessert shop, really.

It's a little pricey compared to The Spudnut Shop and some of our other popular doughnut dives -- of which we have quite a few.

However, all those quit making doughnuts by around 10 a.m. and Krispy Kreme is known for making fresh ones around the clock.

Still, I can't say with certainty that I would frequent a local Krispy Kreme often.

In Yakima, however, youth groups have been selling Krispy Kremes from Issaquah on street corners to raise money for years. I believe the franchise will succeed there for sure (and I hope the kids find other ways to raise money!)
