Luck Runs Out for Man Wanted for Pointing Shotgun at Deputy
A man facing a variety of charges stemming from an altercation with a Walla Walla County Sheriff's Deputy is finally behind bars.
45-year-old Jason L. Rhoades was the subject of a manhunt that included U.S. Marshalls since deciding NOT to show up for a court hearing in January.
Last summer, Deputies responded to a report of a drunken man with a shotgun on Hanson Loop in Burbank. During the late June incident, as the Deputy went inside to talk to Rhoades mother, he pointed a sawed off shotgun at the Deputy.
Not only did Rhoades skip his January hearing, he also didn't show up for his February trial, where he was facing charges of First Degree Assault, unlawfully having a gun, and possession of a sawed off shotgun.
After the SWAT Team and other units showed up at a home in Flamingo Village Trailer Park in Pasco on 28th Ave (where Rhoades was) he finally gave up.
