Medical Issue Causes Man to Plow Trees at Costco

Medical issue causes crash in Costco parking lot (Kennewick police)

For the second time in less than 10 days, a Kennewick area driver escaped what could have been serious injuries when they experienced a medical issue behind the wheel.

Wednesday at Costco, the man driving this Dodge truck had what police said was a "medical issue" while driving. He crashed into several trees before coming to a stop.

The trees actually helped slow and stop the truck, preventing any further injury or damage.

Police say he was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. That's some good news!
