“Methed” Up Suspect Smashes Way Into 2 Kennewick Businesses

What a way to start off Monday...!

Just before 7AM Kennewick Police responded to calls from area residents and others saying a Hispanic man wearing only shorts had kicked in the doors of two businesses in Downtown Kennewick, and entered them. The businesses were in the West 300 block of Kennewick Ave.

After surrounding the area, Police found 31 year old Jose L. Gomez running through an alleyway, he matched the description given by witnesses and he had numerous cuts from broken glass on his body. He was taken to a nearby medical center for treatment from all the gashes.

Police found meth on his person, and he also had an outstanding previous warrant for meth possession. He's now in the Benton County jail facing multiple charges.
