Murder, Arson ‘Lifer’ Dies in Two Rivers Prison in Umatilla
Yet another inmate has died at the Two Rivers Correctional Facility in Umatilla over the weekend. After a 'spree' of three such deaths late last year, it had slowed down.
Officials say 61-year-old Richard Bradbury was found unresponsive in his cell around 3:38am Saturday morning.
Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead around 4:16am. He entered the Two Rivers Correctional facility in 1994, and was serving a life sentence on an aggravated murder and arson charge out of Marion County. It is not known if he was suffering from any medical conditions. Sometimes in previous cases, that was reported by the prison. No other information released.
As per all inmate deaths, an investigation has begun.
