New Details Released About Fatal Pasco Stabbing Suspect
Police have released new information, including a picture, about the suspect accused of fatally stabbing a man earlier this week in Pasco.,
Bail is at $500,000 for Hector Orozco Jr, who is accused of fatally stabbing Demetrius A. Graves early Wednesday.
Orozco, who reportedly has a history of assault-related legal issues, had been out of jail for one day when he allegedly assaulted 3 people, one of them Graves. Graves was a Level 3 sex offender. Graves was one of three people Orozco had met up with near the scene of the assault early Wednesday, police are still not sure why they had met up.
Police still are not sure what triggered the assault, but say when they arrived to arrest Orozco at the Rodeway Inn, there was a bleeding man inside who said Orozco had assaulted him, and a woman ran from the room as well.
Orozco did not have a permanent residence, reportedly had been staying with a variety of friends. He's had previous convictions for eluding police, illegal gun possession and residential burglary.
