Ground breaking for a new military readiness center for the Washington Army National Guard will take place next spring at Horn Rapids Industrial Park. The giant facility will also serve as a storage unit for armored vehicles. It's a forty acre area that the military bought from the city of Richland. There is a budget of over $15 million for the center that will include classrooms, drill floors and a kitchen area. Read more below.
