Now There are Only Two Seattle Supersonics Left Playing NBA Hoops

Not to bring up a sore subject with old Seattle Supersonics fans, but with Nick Collison retiring from the Oklahoma City Thunder, only original Seattle Supersonics Kevin Durant and Jeff Green are still playing NBA basketball.

Nick Collison was a Seattle Supersonic first. Four years a Sonic. He spent his entire 15-year career with the same franchise, from Seattle to Oklahoma City.

There are only two Sonics still playing in the NBA.

Jeff Green and Kevin Durant.

Jeff Green played one year in Seattle after a draft-day trade with Boston sent him to the Pacific Northwest. He's with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Kevin Durant's story is a little more known. If Cleveland and Golden State advance to play each other, AGAIN, it might warrant another bittersweet piece post.
