Oregon Death Row Inmate Died of Natural Causes, Say Authorities

The Oregon State Department of Corrections  says 64-year old man was not murdered.

December 14th, Allen Gary Zweigart passed away from natural causes shortly after noon on Saturday.   Officials did not specify the exact cause of death.

He had been in the Oregon State Penitentiary since December 2004 on a variety of kidnapping, conspiracy to commit murder, aggravated murder, soliciting to commit murder and other charges.

Having been found guilty on all the charges out of Columbia County, he had received a death sentence, and was on Death Row when he passed away.
