Othello Police, Sheriff, Seek Shooter at Large

Wednesday evening, around 10:30PM, an Othello Police officer contacted a man he spotted in an alleyway, after believing he was a wanted suspect.

The officer, in the 800 block of Larch Street in Othello, told the dispatcher he believed the man was wanted. Then shortly afterwards, the officer told dispatch that shots were fired, and the suspect had a gun.

The suspect fled the scene and was not located. The Columbia Basin Investigative Team (CBIT) and Adams County Sheriff's Department were called in to assist with the investigation and location of the suspect.

Authorities are now looking for 32-year-old Aaron Urbina of Othello. He is believed to be likely armed with a handgun. Anyone who may have any information or see him, they're urged to call (509)-659-1122.
