If you saw police dogs chomping down on "suspects" at the Benton-Franklin Fairgrounds Monday, it was actually training.

Pasco K-9 officers, including Lemon (pictured), got in some training to help focus. The work involved using a high-pressure, but non-harmful, hose sprayer to distract the dogs from their suspect.

The exercise helps the dogs zero in on their prey. It appears from the photos that K-9 Lemon was not even deterred by the water. Check the bite marks on the officer's arm, which were given even while wearing a bite suit! Wow!

Would hate to feel those with a bare arm!
