Person Ejected, Killed in Hermiston Highway 395 Crash

The investigation continues with the Oregon State Patrol and other agencies after a Tuesday morning crash closed  Highway 395 in Hermiston near Kellie Boulevard.

The crash was reported around 9:42am, officials say it was a multi-vehicle incident. Umatilla Fire Crews responded, one person was said to have been ejected from one of the vehicles. Attempts to revive them at the scene failed, they were pronounced dead.

The number of vehicles and people involved has not yet been released. Two other people were transported to Good Shepard Hospital in Hermiston but their conditions were unknown.

More information expected to be released soon. The highway was closed for several hours after the crash, but has since reopened.
