Police Able to ‘Extricate’ Barricaded Suspect from Home-Without Injury
Kennewick police were able to defuse a standoff with a wanted suspect Tuesday evening, after he refused to leave a house.
Police were at the 100 block of East 2nd Ave. presumably to apprehend a wanted felony suspect. However, the man, David Stickley, barricaded himself inside and refused to surrender.
Police and the SWAT team were able to use tactical weapons (likely bean bags and or tear gas) to persuade him to give up. He gave up without incident, and is now facing additional charges besides his outstanding issues.
A woman who was inside, identified as Heaven Rogers, was also taken into custody as she was wanted on an outstanding warrant as well. No one was injured inside the home or in the surrounding area during the standoff.
