A Friday afternoon shooting in Kennewick, say Police, appears to be an isolated incident.

   Officers called to E. 400 block of 10th.

Around 1:25 PM officers responded to a report of a shooting in the E. 400 block of 10th Ave. just to the west of the Benton County Fairgrounds.

Upon arrival, they found a male teen (juvenile) who had a gunshot wound to his lower extremities, according to police.

The suspect had already fled the scene, the teen was taken to an area hospital with what are said to be non-life-threatening injuries.

No word if any shell casings were recovered, police say the incident is believed to a "isolated" and did not pose a threat to the general public.
