Prosser Man Gets 27 Years in Prison for Making Child Porn
Stephen Jeffrey Castilleja, from Prosser, was sentenced on four counts of production of child pornography to 27 years in prison and a lifetime of court supervision after he is released.
Castilleja was arrested in January of 2016 after police identified his IP address as taking part in child porn distribution online, according to the Richland police Facebook page..
They got a search warrant, located Castilleja and searched his home. During the interview Castilleja admitted to having "inappropriate videos" on his computers.
Castilleja also admitted to creating porn with two children between ages 5- and 6-years-old and told officers where the electronic devices he used were. Police seized the devices and found child porn from more than 10 years including pictures Castilleja made himself.
Police say that Castilla used his job as a first-grade teacher to prey on kids, as well as his close family and personal relationships.
