Residential Burglars Nabbed While Chilling in Vehicle Out Front

Thursday night, Kennewick police got kind of a late Christmas gift, as in residential burglary suspects.

Officers responded to the 400 block of South Grant on a burglary in progress. At the scene, they found a vehicle, with both occupants inside.

36 year old Melissa Quandt and 36 year old Mark Kinney were arrested on charges of Residential Burglary, and their vehicle was impounded as part of the investigation. Police say the homeowner was not there at the time of the break in, fortunately, that could have resulted in a serious confrontation.
