KPD encountered at least 18 Southridge students inside Kennewick High School's Lion's Den late last night.

Papers were scattered everywhere, and the SHS students told officers they planned to pull a senior prank.

The school district emergency expelled all of them, and they may have to forfeit credits for the semester/school year. An emergency expulsion can last up to ten days.

The students are looking at charges for trespassing and malicious mischief and possible jail time.

According to authorities, the students made a mess but didn't damage any property.
