Franklin County Sheriff Jim Raymond has issued a retraction concerning a letter he'd indicated was received by a Pasco church concerning their desire to have a drive-in style worship service.

In a release on Monday, Raymond had indicated after receiving permission from the City to conduct such a service, the church received a letter from the Attorney General's office saying such services were not allowed.

Tuesday, in a statement, Raymond indicated that was not accurate.  The letter did not come from the Attorney General's office, but from another source, or as he put it "another entity." Who that entity was wan't revealed in his statement.

However Raymond did not walk back on his statement about not enforcing stay at home directives that "infringe upon your Constitutional rights."
