Shoplifting, Drug Suspects Run Down by Police on Freeway
Some sharp-eyed witnesses and good work by Pasco police not only nailed some shoplifting suspects, but it ended up being a drug bust as well.
After being called to the Pasco Walmart about a shoplifting in progress Wednesday, witnesses gave a description of the suspect vehicle as it was leaving. Pasco police quickly located the car by the Road 68 off ramp onto the Interstate and swooped in.
Not only did they find the stolen merchandise, but one of the people in the car was arrested for drugs and paraphernalia. Two suspects are now facing shoplifting charges, the driver was found to be driving on a suspended license, and the fourth person gets the drug charges.
A nice haul, a three for one deal for Pasco police.
