Halloween Already? Spirit Announces Store Locations in Tri Cities

They have become an annual 'event' in the Tri-Cities, where a lot of folks go to get their boo! on.

Originally founded in 1983 in CA with about 60 pop up stores, Spirit Halloween has expanded to about 1,500 locations nationwide, seasonal Halloween stores.

That's where a lot of folks go to find just what they need to celebrate the event, and according to the Tri City Area Journal of Business, the Tri-City locations have been announced.

  You May Have Already Seen the "We're Hiring" Signs

Much of what goes into the locations each year has to do with various business dealings, temporary leases and other stuff. But they do sometimes change venues each year.  This year, there will be a store occupying the old Rite Aid on Steptoe and Grandridge in Kennewick (or Richland if you will),   they will also occupy the old Sears store at Columbia Center Mall.

And finally, another location in Richland at 1717 George Washington Way, the old Office Depot venue.   The exact store opening dates are not out yet, but hiring signs are up and interested persons can also apply via their website.

  Did You Know Spencer's Owns Spirit Halloween?

You've seen the kitzy novelty store at Columbia Center, Spencer's.  Well, they also own Spirit Halloween.  The purchase was way back in 1999 when Spirit had just their first 60 stores.  Perhaps that's why they have access to a lot of interesting and eye-catching novelty items.

According to reports, annually, about 50,000 people are seasonal employees of Spirit Halloween.
