We've got some cool schools here in the Tri-Cities like Southridge and the new Kennewick High School but when it comes to cool, I think Stadium High School in Tacoma might be the coolest high school in the state of Washington.

Stadium High School overlooks Commencement Bay and looks like its own Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle.

The high school was originally going to be a grand hotel and was constructed partially in 1898. A fire gutted the original building so a new one was built in 1906 where it was soon used as a public high school for the Tacoma High School District.

Stadium High School has an amazing location, views, and buildings but operates pretty much like any other public school in Washington State.

Stadium High School with its long history has had several famous people graduate from its rolls and because of its unique look might be most famous for being featured in the 1999 film 10 Things I Hate About You starring Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles.
