Stinkbug Infestation Growing, Local Experts Say

Stinkbugs have been invading homes more than usual this season. To put the rise of stinkbugs into perspective, last year in a 5-day period 36 stink bugs were caught in a trap. This year in a 5-day period 200 stinkbugs were caught!

WSU Extension experts say they've heard from more than two dozen people saying "swamped" with stinkbugs is an UNDERSTATEMENT!

Scientists at Washington State University say they urge residents to send samples of stinkbugs they find to track their whereabouts.
