Stolen Truck Found With Crushed Cab, Blood at Scene

Benton County Sheriff's are trying to solve a potentially deadly mystery.

Around 8am Thursday morning, they received a call about a crashed, crushed actually, older Dodge pickup found near the intersection of Beck and Owens Roads. The location is roughtly between 6-7 miles southwest of Finley.

The older Dodge had the cab completely crushed sideways, and it was removed by a wrecker. When the owner was contacted, he said the truck had been stolen the night before or very early in the morning. The driver was nowhere to be found.

Authorities said they did find blood at the scene, and are genuinely concerned someone may have been seriously hurt in the crash. Judging from the condition of the truck, they're probably right.
