Suspect Hides in Water Heater Closet, Now He’s IN Hot Water
Stanfield Police report a wanted suspect came up with a rather unique way of trying to hide from police, but he still ended up IN hot water, instead of next to it.
Between last Thursday night and Friday morning, police were wrapping up an investigation into a disturbance complaint in the 800 block of North Sloan in Stanfield. A total of five suspects, 3 directly related to the disturbance, were arrested.
The one that stood out however, was a man named Zack Martin. As police investigated at the house where the disturbance occurred, they learned Mr. Martin was trying to hide from them by squeezing into a water heater closet. Either he was looking to stay warm or he never thought police would look there.
They did. And now he's BACK in hot water. He was wanted on outstanding warrants.
